Building Valuation Data Collection App 1. Purpose of the App This mobile application is intended to help a valuation engineer collect, store, and manage building valuation data during site inspections. The app will allow the user to record property details, building specifications, sketches, images, and fee details in a structured format and automatically store them in cloud storage. The app should enable the user to: Create and manage valuation files for different buildings Capture all necessary technical details Draw building sketches Attach site photographs Store all data in cloud storage Generate and download reports in PDF format The application is intended for tablet/mobile use during field visits. --- 2. Login and Security Login System The app should allow login using: Google Account (Gmail Login) Data storage linked to Google Drive or other cloud storage Security After login, the app should be protected with a 4-digit PIN to secure the stored data. Login fields: Gmail ID PIN --- 3. Home Screen / Dashboard After login, the user should see the main dashboard. Elements on Dashboard 1. App Heading Example: Er. Creating a New Valuation File When the user clicks Create New Work, a new data entry workflow opens. The data collection process should contain the following sections. --- 4.1 Basic Details This section captures general property information. Fields required: Reference Number Date Name of Owner Address Mobile Number Ward Number Building Number Type of Building Panchayat / Municipality Name Village Taluk Re-survey Number Age of Building Deed Number Sub Registrar Office --- 4.2 Building Details This section captures technical building specifications. Fields include: Type of Structure (RCC / Load Bearing / Steel etc.) Type of Roof Type of Floor Type of Wall Joinery Details Plastering Details Painting Details Current Condition of Building (Good / Average / Poor) Other Remarks --- 4.3 Building Drawing Module The app should provide a drawing area where the user can draw the building layout. Requirements: Draw using tablet pen or finger touch Simple sketch tools Ability to erase and redraw Drawing saved as part of the valuation record --- 4.4 Area Details A section to record building area information. Possible fields: Plinth Area Floor Area Additional structures Area measurements --- 4.5 Image Attachment The app should allow attaching site photos. Requirements: Maximum 10 images per file Images can be: Taken from camera Uploaded from gallery Images stored with the valuation record --- 4.6 Fee Details A section to record valuation fee information. Fields may include: Valuation Fee Additional Charges Payment status Remarks --- 4.7 Saving the File Once data entry is completed: The file should be saved automatically with the name format: “Reference No – Owner Name” Example: 001 – Rajesh Kumar The file will appear in the Work Details List. --- 5. Work Details Module This section displays all previous valuation works. Organization Structure The works should be organized by: 1️⃣ Year Example: 2026 2027 2028 --- 2️⃣ Month Example: January February March April etc. --- 3️⃣ File List Each month should show a list of valuation files. Open User can open and edit the valuation data. 2. Download User can download the file as a PDF report. The PDF should contain: Basic details Building details Sketch drawing Area details Images Fee details --- 7. Cloud Storage All files should be automatically saved to: Google Drive or Other secure cloud storage Benefits: Data backup Access from multiple devices Prevent data loss --- 8. Additional Suggested Features (Recommended) For better usability, the developer may include: GPS Location Capture site location automatically. Offline Mode Allow data entry without internet and sync later. Search Function Search files by: Owner name Reference number Year Auto PDF Generation Generate formatted valuation report PDF.
