I need an experienced tester to run a full round of functional checks on my utility billing platform before the next release goes live. The application covers typical flows such as account creation, meter reads, bill generation, payments, adjustments and reporting, and I want confidence that each of these areas works together seamlessly on both web and mobile views. Scope – Build or refine a concise test plan that maps to the main business processes (billing & invoicing, payment processing, customer management, reporting). – Execute the tests in our staging environment, logging every defect with clear reproduction steps, screenshots or screen recordings, and severity. – Retest fixes and provide a final pass/fail summary. Deliverables • Test plan with traceability to requirements • Completed test cases (Excel, Google Sheets, or your preferred test-management tool) • Defect log with priority, screenshots and environment details • Final test summary report highlighting risks and recommendations Acceptance criteria – All critical and high-severity bugs are closed or accepted by me with a workaround. – Coverage evidence shows each business process has at least one positive and one negative scenario tested. – Reports are delivered in agreed format and reviewed with my team on a call. Tools I’m flexible on tooling—Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestRail or similar are all fine—as long as results are reproducible and well documented.
