From my own checks the biggest drag appears to be excessive app load, so the first step will be auditing every installed app, trimming what is not essential, and restructuring how the remaining ones are loaded (deferred, conditionally, or via lightweight alternatives). Images also need attention. I want them: • compressed without visible quality loss • served with lazy loading on every template If these two actions alone do not close the gap, feel free to suggest complementary tactics such as critical-CSS inlining, script consolidation, or moving assets to a faster CDN. All code changes must stay theme-update friendly and be clearly commented.
