Developer Brief – Sweet Shop Automation Objective Implement a fully automated delivery and order system for a sweet shop using Shopify + Zapiet. Automation must handle all order types, delivery slots, inventory routing, and automatic order tagging without manual intervention. 1. Locations & Inventory Locations CH-LTN: Central warehouse for town RO-LTN1 → RO-LTN6: Retail outlet locations in town No addresses required for retail outlets at this stage (optional) Each location should have inventory tracking enabled Inventory Logic Products must be assigned to the correct location Rules for stock routing: RO → RO: stock comes from the outlet location CH → RO: stock comes from CH location CH → Home: stock comes from CH location Ensure orders cannot be placed from locations with 0 stock --- 2. Zapiet – Local Delivery Configuration Setup 1. Install Zapiet – Store Pickup + Delivery 2. Enable Local Delivery for CH and all RO locations 3. Assign delivery slots to each location (e.g., 9am–10pm) Delivery Zones CH → Home: by postcode prefix (LU1, LU2, LU3, LU4) RO → RO: limited to the outlet location address only CH → RO: limited to the outlet location address only Delivery Fees & Minimum Order Route Minimum Order Delivery Fee CH → Home £7 £3.50 CH → RO £3 £1.50 RO → RO £0 £0.50 Configure these in Zapiet or Shopify rates 3.
