I’m working on Shopify’s Refresh theme and need help finishing three cart-level features that I have prepared detailed documentation for. First, I want customers to be able to enter our promo codes directly in the cart and see the savings update instantly—before they ever reach checkout. The logic itself is simple: apply a standard Shopify discount code, display the new subtotal, and keep everything compatible with automatic discounts that may already exist in the store. The second piece is subscription visibility. We use the Recharge app and would like its “subscribe & save” selector to appear alongside each applicable line item in the cart drawer as well as the full cart page. Styling should inherit Refresh defaults, but I’ll share exact spacings, typography, and colour references so you can match the mock-ups perfectly. The third piece is a combination of product and subscription tier based selection. Real-time validation - JavaScript checks on cart changes 2. Dynamic error messaging - Clear guidance when rules violated 3. Upgrade prompts - Modal suggesting when needed 4. Fulfillment selector - Radio buttons for shipping vs pickup 5. Partner location finder - ZIP search for pickup locations My theme is untouched outside standard Shopify updates, so you’ll be working directly in Liquid, JSON templates, and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript for dynamic price refreshes. Please keep the code modular and comment your edits; I’ll be pushing to GitHub and staging before going live. Deliverables: • Updated cart templates (drawer and page) with an inline discount-code input that recalculates totals on entry. • Seamless Recharge subscription selector rendered for each eligible product, using our existing plans. • Responsive styling that mirrors my design references on both desktop and mobile. • Brief hand-off notes summarising every file you touched so I can track changes in version control.
