I need a developer who can tackle two connected objectives on my Shopify store. First, I want the cart experience refined—think cleaner layout, faster updates, and the flexibility for me to add promotional logic later without breaking anything. Second, I’d like that cart to talk to the OCR.space API so shoppers can upload an image or PDF during checkout and have the key details automatically captured and shown in real-time before they complete payment. The OCR flow must run server-side, return JSON, and feed the parsed data back into the cart or a metafield that I can reference in order confirmation emails. Please keep the code lightweight, organised in theme sections or an app embed block, and well-commented so future tweaks are straightforward.
