Everything should run headless or headed on the latest stable Chrome build; cross-browser coverage is not required for this phase. A clean Page Object Model structure and readable assertions are important so the scripts stay maintainable as the product evolves. I am comfortable with Java, Python, or JavaScript bindings—feel free to propose whichever one you can support confidently, along with TestNG, JUnit, pytest, Mocha, or an equivalent lightweight runner.
