A wedding venue I’m designing needs a short, fully-rendered 3D animation that feels as lifelike as possible. The sequence will play on the reception’s main screen and should showcase the décor itself—floral arrangements, table layouts, stage set-up, and lighting transitions—so guests see the space bloom before their eyes. Style and mood have to stay firmly in the Realistic camp; think physically-based materials, believable light fall-off, and natural camera movement rather than anything cartoonish or abstract. I’ll provide reference photos, CAD plans of the hall, and the colour palette for the decoration scheme the moment we begin. Because the animation serves as both a reveal and ambient loop during the evening, it should run smoothly in a wide format video file (MP4 or MOV, H.264 codec) suitable for large LED walls. A subtle, royalty-free audio bed would be a plus but not essential. Deliverables • Preview playblast for approval before final render • Final 3D scene files (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D—your choice) • One high-resolution video render in the agreed format File hand-off one week before the event leaves room for last-minute tweaks, so an iterative approach with quick feedback checkpoints is important.
