I need a straightforward React Native application that lets users capture or import a photo, then edit it with the kind of creative controls you see in lightweight social-media editors. Core flow • Shoot or pick an image (the app must access both the camera and the gallery on iOS and Android). • Present the editor canvas where users can: – Place text anywhere, switch between multiple fonts, apply colour gradients to the text itself, and toggle a clean border/stroke around it. – Build a quick collage by adding extra images on separate layers and moving or scaling them. – Adjust brightness, contrast and basic colour levels for the whole canvas. – Cut out objects: a simple free-hand “rubber” eraser to wipe areas manually, plus a one-tap smart cut that isolates the main subject by focus detection. Usability is more important than advanced pro features, so the UI can stay minimal as long as those tools are obvious and finger friendly. Tech notes I’m happy with bare React Native CLI or Expo; use whatever speeds delivery, as long as the final build runs natively on both platforms. If you rely on any paid SDK for the smart-cut feature, flag that early so I can approve it. Deliverables • Full React Native project with clean, readable code and in-line comments. • iOS and Android release-build packages ready for TestFlight / internal testing. • Brief README explaining build steps, third-party libraries and how to extend fonts or gradients.
