I’m looking to jump-start a city-scale 3D environment 1:1 ratio inside Unreal Engine without the usual weeks of hand-placing every curb and corner. The scene must match a real-world location, so the heightmap, road layout, and basic building footprints need to come from live geographic data (OpenStreetMap, Google APIs, or any equally reliable source you’re comfortable with). Speed is the whole point of this first phase: lean on World Partition, GIS, Houdini Engine, CitySample tools, AI-assisted generators—anything that lets you import splines for roads, drape them over authentic terrain, and populate the block grid with premade or procedural buildings in a single pass. Perfect accuracy in façade detail isn’t needed yet; what matters is that the topography, roadway network, and general massing feel true to life so our gameplay team can begin prototyping. Deliverables I need at hand-off: • An Unreal Engine 5 project containing the city/district map, cleanly organised and ready for streaming levels • Real-world terrain and road splines correctly aligned at true scale • Placeholder or kit-bashed buildings filling the lots so the skyline feels believable • Short note on which data sources, plugins, or AI tools you used, so we can replicate the workflow in later phases Acceptance: when I can open the project, hit Play, and freely fly through a recognisable version of the selected district with no missing materials or broken references. If this milestone runs smoothly, we’ll move on to high-detail meshes, LODs, interactive props, and gameplay optimisation in subsequent contracts.
