We’re building a trading and market-data platform that streams live prices across Indian equities, major forex pairs, and top crypto exchanges. We’re looking for a backend engineer who can design scalable services and work confidently with high-volume, real-time data. You’ll work with Python 3.x (asyncio, threading, multiprocessing) across Django and FastAPI, building APIs over HTTP and WebSockets. You’ll integrate live market feeds and collaborate closely with the frontend team to ship features smoothly and consistently. Our data layer uses PostgreSQL (TimescaleDB) for time-series workloads and RedisTimeSeries for fast in-memory operations, caching, and pub/sub pipelines. Everything runs in Docker on Linux, deployed across AWS and DigitalOcean—solid cloud experience is important. We’re looking for someone with strong backend fundamentals: debugging concurrency issues, optimizing performance, and writing clean, production-ready code. 3+ years of Python backend experience preferred.
