I’m ready to launch a website that delivers self-paced online courses to a broad, general-public audience. The site needs to feel welcoming to first-time visitors, guide them quickly to available courses, and make the enrolment process completely friction-free on desktop and mobile alike. Core scope • Design and build a clean, responsive front-end that showcases each course with its syllabus, instructor bio, and preview content. • Implement a straightforward course player that supports video, downloadable materials, and progress tracking. • Provide an intuitive admin area where I can add, edit, and retire courses without touching code. • Set up secure user registration, login, and password recovery so learners can pick up where they left off. • Optimise basic SEO and page-load performance so the public can find the site easily and browse without delay. Acceptance criteria The finished site should load smoothly on all major browsers, pass core web-vitals, and allow me to create a new course—complete with lessons and media—within five minutes from the dashboard. Once everything meets that bar, please hand over source files and a brief hand-over guide so I can maintain content in-house. If you have recent experience building course platforms in WordPress, Laravel, or a modern JS framework, and can keep the interface friendly for non-technical visitors, I’d love to work together.
