Website Update Brief We would like to proceed with an update of our existing website (https://ppl.law/ - wordpress), both in terms of design / UX and content structure. Below is a detailed outline of what we would like to explore. 1) Website Entry (loading / entry experience) We would like to explore the possibility of adding a subtle animation or transition during the website loading phase, in order to create a more modern and dynamic entry experience. This point can be discussed in more detail at a later stage. 2) Homepage – Banner On the homepage, we would like to add a rotating banner (carousel). The banner will feature our latest news (e.g. deals, recognitions, key announcements). It should include light motion and interactive elements. On hover, we would like the banner to change color or include a subtle visual effect. The overall look should remain professional and refined, while feeling modern. 3) Homepage – Footer In the footer section of the homepage, we would like: Our awards to be permanently visible. All certifications grouped together at the bottom of the page. A discreet newsletter subscription option, without an overly commercial feel. 4) Homepage – Contact Us The Contact Us section should be completely removed from the homepage. Instead, we would like to create a dedicated “Contact Us” page, accessible through the main navigation menu. 5) Our Team On the Our Team page: Each team member should display photo, name, and title. By clicking on a team member, their full profile should open (either as a dedicated page or via a modal). The user experience should be clean and intuitive, without excessive visual elements. 6) Newsroom The Newsroom section requires restructuring, both in terms of content and navigation. a) Contact information There should be a general contact person for the Newsroom. If not on the main Newsroom page, this should at least appear within each individual article. b) Content categorization We would like clear separation of content into the following categories: Deals Announcements Insights (legal articles / analysis) News (internal firm news, participation in events, new team members, etc.) c) Metadata & filters Each post should include a publication date. Ideally, there should be a time-based filter (e.g. by year or period). 7) References We can provide example websites (design and functionality references) if requested. Note We are particularly interested in achieving an aesthetic balance between a serious legal brand and a modern, clean web design. We especially like the look and feel of https://www.aoshearman.com/en , not as a template to replicate, but as a reference point for quality, clarity, and overall user experience.
