My journal is still running on Open Journal Systems 3.0 and I’m ready to move up to 3.5 (or whatever the latest stable release is), but I want the transition to be invisible to readers and editors. The current theme must remain exactly as it is, and I only use the default plugins that ship with OJS—no custom code or additional features are involved, and I’d like to keep it that way. I will provide full server access (SSH + cPanel) along with a staging copy of the site. The upgrade should be completed on the staging environment first, thoroughly tested, and then rolled out to production without downtime.
