We recently adopted Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud (NPSP) and now need a developer who can turn it into a working hub for our organisation. The immediate focus is on standing up Donation, Volunteer, and Grant tracking so that every gift, hour and award is captured in one place. Clean data flows are crucial because I rely heavily on Reporting & Analytics to brief our board and funders. Key pieces of the build • Configure NPSP objects and automations for donations, volunteer shifts and grants, including custom fields where our programmes demand extra detail. • Create intuitive Lightning pages and Flows so staff with minimal Salesforce experience can enter or update records without confusion. • Surface real-time dashboards and scheduled reports that summarise revenue, volunteer hours and grant milestones—these need to be ready for export to PDF or XLS each month. Integrations we want live before we go live • Accounting software: push closed donations and grant payments to our general ledger and pull reconciliation statuses back into Salesforce. • Email marketing: sync supporter lists and engagement data so that segmented campaigns reflect up-to-date donor, volunteer and grantee activity. • Event management: capture registrations, attendance and payments from our ticketing tool directly into Campaigns and Opportunities. Tech stack & expectations The org is Lightning-only, no classic components remain. Wherever possible I prefer declarative solutions, but I’m comfortable approving Apex, LWCs or REST calls when clicks won’t cut it. Sandboxes are already provisioned; you’ll work in Dev, promote to UAT, then assist me with the production deployment. Acceptance criteria 1. Donation, Volunteer and Grant record types function end-to-end, including automated acknowledgements. 2. All three external systems exchange data via secure integrations with error handling and logging. 3. At least five executive-level dashboards are live, each backed by reliable report subscriptions. 4. Post-deployment support document and a brief hand-over call are completed. If this aligns with your experience, tell me how you would tackle the build and roughly how long each milestone will take.
