My stack is already defined: React Native for a simple, accessible interface, OpenAI GPT-4 for conversation, Firebase Auth for anonymous sign-in, Supabase (PostgreSQL) to store minimal usage data, and Stripe for optional donations. A lightweight crisis-detection layer must sit between the user and GPT-4 so that high-risk language triggers an appropriate, compassionate flow instead of a standard response. Scope I need an MVP that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android. On first launch, users will set a preferred communication tone (direct, gentle, hype-friend, etc.); from there the chat must feel consistent, safe, and fast. Once the build is stable, I plan a closed-alpha with 100 testers, so the codebase and deployment pipeline should accommodate quick iteration.
