The site is content-heavy, with text articles as the star attraction, so clean typography, well-paced white space and a layout that encourages reading are essential. Primary objective Improve overall user experience without sacrificing the “classic” aesthetic I’m after. Key UX focus areas • Simplifying navigation – intuitive menus, clear page hierarchy and crisp internal linking • Enhancing mobile responsiveness – layouts that adapt gracefully to every screen size (While faster load times are always welcome, the two points above are my non-negotiables for this phase.) Scope of work – Redesign homepage, article templates and any shared components (header, footer, sidebars). – Provide high-fidelity mock-ups or interactive prototypes in the design tool of your choice (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.). – Supply final responsive HTML/CSS (or WordPress-ready theme files) that match the approved designs pixel-perfectly. – Migrate existing text content into the new layouts with attention to readability and on-page SEO. Acceptance criteria 1. Navigation requires no more than three clicks to reach any main section. 2. Google Lighthouse mobile score 90+ for the redesigned pages. 3. Visual style aligns with the provided mood board: classic fonts, restrained color palette, elegant spacing. 4. All Article pages pass WCAG AA contrast guidelines.
