Long-Term Partner & Web Developer for Multi-Sector Business Ecosystem Website Job Type: Ongoing / Part-Time (with potential for full-time retainer) Budget: [Open to proposals / Hourly / Project-based] About the Project I am the founder of Collaborative Investment Ltd (CIL) , a multi-sector business development and investment management company operating across ten strategic sectors in Nigeria, including Construction, Agribusiness, Solar Energy, Hospitality, and Property Management. We are not just building a company website; we are building a digital ecosystem that reflects our physical operations. Our goal is to create a platform that: Showcases our diverse sectors and projects. Connects our workforce ("Find Work / Hire Professionals") with opportunities. Attracts strategic partners (like Jobberman, Bertola, Tiger TMT). Educates visitors on our National Workforce Expansion Plan. I am looking for a developer who wants to be a long-term partner in this journey—someone who can grow with us, understand our vision, and help us build this platform gradually, phase by phase. Scope of Work (What We Need to Build) We need a clean, professional, and scalable website. The key features and pages should include: Phase 1: Foundation & Branding A modern, responsive company website based on provided branding (or your design input). Clear information architecture for our 10 core sectors (e.g., Agribusiness, Construction, Solar, etc.). A professional "About Us" section and "Executive Team" page. Phase 2: Workforce & Partner Integration A dedicated "Find Work / Hire Professionals" section (essentially a basic job board or listing feature). A "Strategic Partnerships" page to showcase collaborations (like the proposals we are sending to Jobberman, Bertola, Tiger TMT). Integration with our social media channels and possibly a blog for company news and workforce development articles. Phase 3: Interactive & Expansion Features An interactive map or page for our "National Workforce Expansion Plan" , showing our focus states (Lagos, Ogun, Ibadan, Kwara, Abuja, etc.). A partner portal or contact system for vendors and dealers (like Tiger TMT's "Find a Dealer" feature). Possibly a simple project portfolio or case study section for completed works. Phase 4: Scalability & Future Growth As we grow, the site should be able to handle increased traffic and potentially e-commerce or service booking features. Ongoing maintenance, security updates, and SEO optimization. Who I Am Looking For (The Ideal Partner) I don't just want someone to write code and disappear. I am looking for a tech partner who: Understands Business: You take time to understand why we are building something, not just how. Has Ideas: You bring your own suggestions to the table to improve functionality and user experience. Is Patient & Long-Term: This will be built step-by-step. We need someone who is happy to grow with the company over months and years. Communicates Well: You can explain technical things in plain English and keep me updated on progress. Is Reliable: You meet deadlines and are responsive. Technical Skills Required Strong experience in WordPress (preferred) or a similar robust CMS (Content Management System) that I can easily update myself. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (if custom work is needed). Experience with responsive/mobile-first design. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Experience integrating basic job board or listing functionalities (plugins or custom development). UI/UX design sense (or ability to work with a designer). Why Work With Me? Consistent Work: This is not a one-off project. As CIL expands, our digital needs will grow, leading to ongoing work and feature additions. Creative Freedom: I value your expertise and will give you space to make decisions. Real Impact: You will be building a platform that directly contributes to job creation and business development in Nigeria. Partnership Mindset: I am looking for a relationship, not a transaction. If this first project goes well, I hope to have you on retainer for the long haul. How to Apply Please respond with the following: A brief introduction about yourself and your experience. Links to 2-3 relevant websites you have built (especially business, multi-sector, or job board sites). Your preferred way of working (hourly, project-based, retainer) and your estimated budget/rate for Phase 1. One idea you have for our website based on this description. I look forward to finding a great long-term partner!
