Scope of work • Copy all site files, databases, and media to the new VPS via SSH/SFTP or the tool you prefer (cPanel, rsync, etc.). • Switch DNS with minimal disruption so customers can keep placing orders without noticing the change. • Re-issue/transfer SSL certificates (Let’s Encrypt is fine) so every storefront stays on https. • Once the sites are live on the VPS, configure security: basic firewall rules, fail2ban or similar brute-force protection, and WordPress-level tweaks (login-attempt limits, correct file permissions, disabled XML-RPC unless needed). • Verify that each checkout, admin login, and critical plugin still works exactly as before. Acceptance criteria 1. All four domains load from the new VPS, page speed equal to or better than current hosting. 2. Orders, products, and customer records remain intact; no broken images or links. 3. SSL shows fully secure in every browser. 4. Firewall and login-hardening are demonstrably active. 5. I receive a short hand-off document outlining what you configured and any future maintenance tips. You’ll get root access to the VPS and WordPress admin credentials as soon as we start.
