I need my current Moodle instance moved from the root domain to a dedicated sub-domain and, at the same time, I want to retire the Edwiser Remi theme. The goal is to break free from that vendor lock-in (and its hefty renewal fees) while giving learners a faster, cleaner experience. Criteria, must be able to demonstrate you have moodle experience. 1. Main tasks. a. Export 2 courses and settings from one moodle site running version 4.1.2 and importing them into a brand new moodle site running 5.1.1. The courses are predominately videos. b. Modify boost and boost union theme on the new 5.1.1 to align within reason to the previous site Matching colours and modern look. Additional notes: • Edwiser RemiUI theme is installed, including other edwiser add-ons like Edwiser Remi Blocks, advanced block, embedded questions, ratings and review. Not all need to be replaced but there should be the ability to rate courses etc. • Other main plugins currently on the old version: • h5p – this needs to be upgraded so h5p interactions are still usable • Multi-Language Content. Of the two courses on the site one is english the other is spanish, ultimatly all courses will be in these two languages. 2. Testing & Acceptance Criteria Migration Acceptance • Imported settings and courses match in functionality. Note courses all have h5p interactions and they should work in a similar fashion on the new site. • theme, agreement, probably boost/union, but need to signoff on how it looks with imported courses before it’s skinned to colours. • no php or other errors with themes or plugins 3 Deliverables • Two courses successfully restored in Moodle 5.1.1 • Free theme installed, configured, and documented, inc uploading courses into theme • Brief migration report including: ◦ Issues encountered ◦ Any manual fixes applied ◦ Documentation for uploading courses into theme • Multilanguage support
