Hello, I recently purchased a modded Minecraft server from someone, and although it technically runs, it needs a complete cleanup, security check, and optimization. The previous owner left many mods, plugins, and custom JARs, but the server contains issues, errors, and even backdoors that need to be fully removed. Current problems: • Many compiled JARs with little to no source code • Startup errors: missing mods, bad dependencies, conflicts • Heavy lag and poor optimization • Messy and unorganized server structure • Backdoors and callbacks in some plugins/mods (redirecting to the previous owner’s IP/website/Discord) • Old player data and leftover files everywhere What I need you to do (priority work): 1. Full audit of the entire server (mods, plugins, configs, scripts). 2. Decompile suspicious JARs, remove all backdoor code, clean them, and recompile safely. 3. Remove every redirection, hidden URL, or remote connection left by the previous owner. 4. Delete all player data and reset the server to a clean state. 5. Fix errors during startup (missing libraries, mod dependencies, plugin conflicts). 6. Optimize performance so the server can handle more players (clean unused mods, check performance-heavy tasks, optimize configs). 7. Reorganize the full file structure: proper folders, configs sorted, duplicates removed. 8. Make the final server 100% clean, stable, secure, and ready to run as if it were a brand-new build. 9. When possible, recover or generate readable source files so I can recompile mods/plugins myself in the future.
