Project Overview: Migrate 27 products (with multiple variants: sizes/frames) from an existing WooCommerce/WordPress site to Shopify. The catalog is small and manageable. The goal is a clean, secure Shopify store that integrates Gelato POD, Instagram/Facebook Shop, and Google Merchant Center, while preserving SEO and ensuring a smooth customer experience. Deliverables 1. Data Migration • Migrate all WooCommerce products (27 total, with variants), images, and key content into Shopify. • Rebuild WordPress pages (About, FAQ, Shipping, Returns). • Optionally: import past customers and orders for reference (not essential). 2. Design Setup • Configure and customize a modern, design-forward Shopify theme (final theme to be selected during the project). • Apply existing brand identity (logo, colors, typography, and visual style) to ensure consistency. • Build homepage, product template, collection template, and navigation. 3. Apps & Integrations • Set up Gelato POD integration (print-on-demand fulfillment). • Connect Meta channel (Facebook & Instagram Shop) and sync catalog. • Reconnect Google Merchant Center via Shopify’s official Google & YouTube app: • Verify Shopify domain in GMC. • Sync full product catalog. • Confirm products are approved and appear in free listings. 4. SEO Preservation • Create full URL mapping + 301 redirects from old WooCommerce/WordPress URLs. • Preserve meta titles, descriptions, and key alt text. • Submit updated sitemap to Google Search Console. 5. Analytics & Tracking • Connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and verify event tracking. • Verify domain and submit sitemap in Google Search Console. 6. QA & Launch • Test cart, checkout, order confirmation emails, and Gelato fulfillment flow. • Test mobile/responsive design across devices. • Update DNS (Network Solutions) to point domain to Shopify. • Preserve MX records for Google Workspace email. 7. Post-Launch Support • Provide a 2-week bug-fix period for any issues. • Deliver a 1–2 page admin guide for ongoing product updates and basic site management.
