The task is to install a fresh instance of Mifos X on my server and wire it up to M-Pesa so that clients can deposit directly into their savings accounts from their mobile wallets. I already have the M-Pesa API keys and credentials ready to hand over. Once the platform is running, the Savings module needs to be properly configured—products, interest rules, posting schedules, and any fee structures—so deposits arriving through the mobile channel are reflected instantly and accurately. Deliverables • Clean installation of the latest stable Mifos X (Tomcat/MySQL or PostgreSQL stack). • Secure integration with the M-Pesa API using the keys I supply, including callback/confirmation handling. • Tested mobile-to-savings deposit flow showing funds credited in real time. • Updated documentation or config files so I can replicate or modify the setup later. Acceptance criteria – No errors in server logs after deployment. – A demo transaction via M-Pesa reflects in the correct savings account within Mifos X. – Clear step-by-step notes covering any custom scripts, endpoints, or configurations applied.
