I’m looking for a developer who can turn my concept for a real-time, map-centric mobile application into a working prototype and clear technical blueprint. The core idea Users register the traditional way (email + password), then post photos, videos, or standalone text files. Each post is stamped with its GPS coordinates and appears instantly on a Google Maps layer for anyone within roughly a 3 km radius. A simple switch lets the owner hide or reshow any of their uploads at will. Essential functions • Upload screen that accepts one category per post and stores media, description, timestamp, and location • Live proximity feed pushed to nearby devices without refresh (WebSocket, Firebase Realtime DB, or similar) • Category filter so users can toggle map layers and see only what interests them • Secure auth flow, profile page, and password reset Deliverables I expect 1. Technical architecture outline covering backend, database, and real-time service 2. Wireframes or visual mock-ups for the key screens 3. Functional prototype (Android or cross-platform) demonstrating upload, live map visibility, filters, and visibility toggle over Google Maps 4. Brief test plan and setup instructions so I can run the build locally Preferred tools are Firebase, Supabase, or a lightweight Node/Express backend, but I’m open to alternatives if they preserve true real-time performance. Clean, well-commented code is a must. When you reply, include links to any similar location-based apps you’ve built, your proposed tech stack, and an estimated timeline.
