I need an Android app that turns the phone into a quick, reliable PDF scanner. The core flow is: open camera, detect page edges in real-time, auto-crop, run basic enhancements (shadow removal, brightness/contrast), then let the user export either a multi-page PDF or individual images (JPG/PNG). Offline text recognition must work in English and Hindi; the recognition engine should stay on the device so the app remains fully functional without data. Accuracy close to Google ML Kit’s on-device OCR would be ideal, but I’m open to any equally lightweight library you might recommend. Free users see AdMob banner and interstitial ads and can: • scan unlimited receipts, ID cards, forms, loose pages, or notes • apply default colour / grey / B&W filters • save or share the resulting PDF or image locally A premium subscription tier should unlock watermark removal, cloud backup to Google Drive, and a “custom quality export” option where users pick resolution and compression before saving. The paywall needs to follow Play Billing v6 with monthly and yearly options; any feature behind the paywall must gracefully promote the upgrade instead of hard-blocking the workflow. The finished APK should feel snappy on low-end devices (Android 8.0+), use Material 3 components for a modern look, and keep the install size lean. Smooth page edge detection and a polished crop/rotate UI are critical; I’m aiming for a user experience on par with Adobe Scan but without the bloat. Deliverables (all items required): 1.
