I have a production-ready VPN app written entirely in Kotlin and currently deployed only on Android. Several users are now reporting unexpected behaviour that I need resolved quickly and cleanly. Your task is to dive into the existing codebase, pinpoint the root causes, and push well-documented fixes that restore rock-solid performance. You will receive full access to the Git repository, the current release APK, and a short list of the symptoms we observe on multiple devices. After diagnosing the problems, I expect refactored or patched code that conforms to our existing architecture, along with concise commit messages that explain what changed and why. Deliverables • Updated Kotlin source code ready to merge • Signed APK (or AAB) for validation on our end • Brief changelog outlining the issues found, steps taken, and final outcome • Instructions, if any, for additional configuration on the Play Store listing or backend Successful completion means the VPN connects consistently, maintains stable sessions across common Android versions, and introduces no new regressions. If testing shows the fixes hold up under normal and stress conditions, we will promptly mark the milestone complete and release payment.
