I’m building a new e-commerce site and need a junior full-stack developer who enjoys working in WooCommerce. The core job is to take my product list, design notes, and brand assets, then turn them into a functional store that looks polished on both desktop and mobile. Here’s what I’ll count on you for: • Set up and configure WordPress + WooCommerce on my hosting account. • Build or adapt a lightweight theme, styling it with responsive CSS so pages load fast and match the brand colors and typography I’ll provide. • Create a small set of page templates (home, category, product, cart/checkout, account) and wire them into WooCommerce’s flow. • Implement essential plugins—payment gateway, shipping calculator, basic SEO, and a security hardening plugin—making sure everything plays nicely together. • Add the initial product catalog (roughly 40 SKUs) and confirm that variations, images, and tax settings render correctly. • Test checkout end-to-end in sandbox mode, fix any layout or JavaScript hiccups, and hand over a short how-to guide so I can manage products myself. This is a medium-sized project: I expect a functional prototype within the first week, a design review with visual mockups, and a refined, launch-ready store by the end of our engagement. Clear Git commits and short progress notes will keep us on the same page. You’ll thrive if you’re comfortable with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and the usual WooCommerce hooks. If you’ve tinkered with Elementor or Gutenberg blocks, that’s a plus but not required. Send a brief note about similar WooCommerce sites you’ve built and let me know when you could start. I’m happy to answer questions and provide quick feedback so you can focus on writing clean, organized code.
