I need a full-stack solution that lets me run and control digital signage networks from a single place. The project breaks down into three tightly-connected parts: • A web-based CMS built preferably with Java & Spring that lets me create playlists of Videos, Images, Text/HTML and even open a Web URL in browser mode when the display is touch-enabled. From the CMS I want to schedule, preview, and publish this content to any screen in the network. It must also allow the creation of templates combining text, images, and videos on the same screen. • A remote management module inside the same back-end that continually reports each device’s status, pushes software updates, and allows me to trigger remote shutdown or reboot on demand. Real-time monitoring dashboards and basic alerting are essential. • A lightweight player application for Both Android and Windows devices. Once installed on the media player or system-on-chip display, it should auto-start on boot, cache the media it receives, follow the schedule delivered by the CMS, and listen for remote commands coming from the management module. The platform must be secure and include user and permission management, and it must also allow devices to be grouped and assigned to one or more users. Deliverables I will review for acceptance: 1. Source code with build scripts and clear module separation (CMS, management, player). 2. REST or WebSocket APIs documented so additional front-ends can be built later. 3. Installation guides for server and device apps, plus a quick demo showing a playlist published to at least one Android box and one Windows PC. 4. Basic test cases confirming content playback, scheduling accuracy, status reporting, and remote reboot/shutdown.
