I’m launching a brand-new Shopify storefront dedicated to industrial cutting tools and need the entire site set up from scratch. The job covers everything from selecting and customising an Online Store 2.0 theme to configuring products, collections and fulfilment so we’re ready to start shipping real-world inventory the moment we go live. Here’s what I expect: • A clean, professional design that speaks to engineers, machinists and procurement teams—in other words, no fashion-style layouts. • Clear product architecture: main collection pages for tool categories (end mills, inserts, blades, etc.), with individual product pages showcasing specs, technical drawings, pricing tiers and stock status. • Core Shopify settings fully configured—payment gateways, tax rules, shipping zones, automatic order notifications, and a basic but solid SEO foundation (titles, meta descriptions, alt tags). • Practical back-end tweaks: metafields for material type, coating and shank size so staff can filter inventory quickly, plus straightforward bulk import templates (CSV) for future catalogue growth. • A mobile-first build, tested on major browsers and devices. • Handover documentation and a brief walkthrough video so my team can manage routine updates without outside help. Optional extras I’m open to discussing once the fundamentals are in place include bulk-order pricing grids and embedded PDF maintenance guides, but the immediate milestone is a fully functioning store that can process its first physical order confidently. If you have prior experience designing Shopify sites for technical or B2B products, I’d love to see those examples.
