Industrial 3D Design of Delivery Robot

We are looking for an experienced 3D industrial designer to design the external body and chassis of a delivery robot. This robot will be used in real-world operational environments, so the design must balance aesthetics, manufacturability, durability, and serviceability. This project focuses on the robot body/enclosure, not navigation algorithms or electronics design. Scope of Work Design the outer shell / body of a delivery robot Ensure the design is suitable for 3D printing and/or low-volume manufacturing Incorporate constraints around: Internal component mounting (robot base, battery, sensors, compute unit) Cable routing, ventilation, and access panels Structural rigidity and stability Create a clean, modern, and professional industrial design suitable for commercial deployment Iterate based on feedback Deliverables 3D CAD files (preferred formats: STEP, IGES, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) 3D-printable files (STL) Basic assembly structure or exploded view (if applicable) Optional: high-quality renders for visualization (KeyShot / Blender / Fusion render) Technical Requirements Experience designing robot bodies, enclosures, or mechanical housings Strong understanding of DFM / DFA, especially for 3D printing Familiarity with materials commonly used in 3D printing (PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, etc.) Ability to design around real-world constraints (mounting points, tolerances, service access) Timeline ~2 weeks
