My team is in the development phase of an IBM Sterling Order Management implementation and I need an experienced Sterling OMS developer to strengthen our order-processing layer. The immediate priority is Order Fulfillment and Shipping, so you should be comfortable configuring pipelines, developing custom services, and tuning transaction workflows that move an order smoothly from allocation to carrier hand-off. Key objectives: • Extend and fine-tune the Fulfillment pipeline, including sourcing, scheduling, and shipment creation. • Build or modify service components (Java, XSLT, APIs, user exits) to meet complex shipping rules. • Optimize integration touchpoints with external WMS/carrier systems while maintaining Sterling compliance and performance best practices. • Provide clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer so the in-house team can maintain your work. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside our architects and QA engineers, and we value clean, well-commented code that aligns with IBM standards. If you have a solid track record in IBM Sterling OMS, especially around order orchestration and shipping logic, I’d love to hear how you would approach this assignment and your availability to start.
