Remote Support Engineer & UI/UX Designer (Contract) Atlantis Control Systems is building the world’s best smart marina management platform. We’re looking for a hybrid Systems Engineer & UI/UX designer who can keep our Next.js/React apps healthy and refine the operational experience for dock staff and marina owners. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and stabilize features across our Next.js 14 apps (Atlantis Marina tenant dashboards, Atlantis Central back office), including telemetry ingestion, Eagle Eye video integrations, and shared UI libraries. Pair with our engineers to debug live deployments (Vercel/Turso/Drizzle) and maintain observability, calibration, and facility-mapping workflows. Drive UI/UX improvements—deliver design proposals, wireframes, and high-fidelity updates for dashboards, facility maps, reservation flows, and camera tooling. Ship production-ready React/Tailwind/TypeScript implementations that are accessible and responsive. Participate in remote support rotations: document incidents, produce clear postmortems, and coach internal teams. Keep roadmap/docs current as features ship. What We’re After 4+ years building production-grade React/Next.js interfaces; strong Tailwind and TypeScript proficiency. Systems-debug mindset with experience using telemetry, logs, and browser/network tooling to isolate issues quickly. Background designing for complex operational users (dashboards, GIS/mapping, data-rich UIs) and translating insights into shippable components. Familiarity with mapping SDKs (Google Maps, Mapbox) and video/security integrations is a plus. Excellent communication and documentation habits for distributed teams. Bonus: exposure to Turso/SQLite, Drizzle ORM, or platforms like Eagle Eye Networks. Contract Details Remote contractor role, 5–15 hrs/week, core overlap in US Eastern hours. 15$ an hour with increase based on performance. week to week engagement with immediate start.
