I have a new household item in mind and I want to turn the idea into a market-ready consumer product. You’ll be taking my rough sketches and inspiration images and transforming them into a fully engineered design that can go straight to manufacturers for quoting. Along the way I’m counting on you to: • Refine the overall form, ergonomics, and user interaction • Select practical materials and finishes that suit large-scale production (injection-moulding is likely) • Build a clean, parametric CAD model in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable tool • Produce clear 2D drawings with tolerances, assembly notes, and any hardware callouts • Generate photorealistic renders—KeyShot or similar—so I can showcase colour and texture options • Provide an exploded view or short animation that explains how everything fits together All native project files, STEP/IGES exports, and high-resolution visuals should be included in the final hand-off. I’ll give feedback at each milestone and expect quick iterations, so regular progress screenshots or screen-share walk-throughs will be appreciated. If you have a strong portfolio of consumer goods and understand the realities of mass production, let’s make this household item a reality.
