I have the raw costing figures for a mitigation job and now need a single Google Sheet that turns those numbers into a clear, professional-looking estimate and printable invoice. The sheet must be fully formatted—logo space, client details, line-item costs, taxes/mark-ups—so I can drop in project data and have totals, subtotals, and percentages populate instantly. Core logic I expect: • Aggregate maths (SUM, AVERAGE, MIN/MAX) to keep running totals accurate. • Conditional logic (IF, AND, OR) that shows or hides sections based on whether a value is present, automatically flags missing inputs, and applies tiered pricing where needed. • Lookup functions (VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH) to pull labour and material rates from a reference table and keep everything consistent. In addition, I want: • An “Estimate” tab that feeds off the raw data and calculates margins automatically. • An “Invoice” tab that re-uses the estimate figures but reformats them for client-ready output—ideally a single click to create a PDF. • Colour-coded cells so anyone on my team knows exactly where to type and where not to touch. Once finished, I should be able to type quantities and codes and have the entire mitigation estimate—including markup, overhead and tax—finish itself with no manual maths.
