Our order-management platform is ready for its next leap: we are moving from a legacy Python / Django codebase to a modern, microservice-oriented stack in Go. I need someone who has at least two years of solid Go experience and feels comfortable working side-by-side with existing Django components during the transition. The first milestone will be carving out high-traffic modules—currently written in Django—and rewriting them as independent Go services. You’ll profile and tune PostgreSQL queries as you work, expose cleaner REST and GraphQL endpoints, and containerize each service with Docker. Redis queues and Celery workers already handle asynchronous jobs; keeping or refactoring that layer will be part of the discussion. Tight integrations power the business, so expect to touch Shopify, YCS Express and multiple payment gateways. Enhancements range from adding missing webhooks to improving retry logic and performance. We rely on Git pull requests and code reviews; clear commit history and constructive feedback are must-haves. Because our stakeholders and several team members communicate primarily in Chinese, fluent written and spoken Chinese is mandatory. If designing resilient Go microservices, optimizing Postgres, and polishing API integrations sound like your wheelhouse, let’s talk about shaping the next generation of our OMS.
