I need an experienced Flutter engineer to take ownership of day-to-day feature work and long-term maintenance on a production application that must run smoothly on both iOS and Android. The codebase is already in place; your first tasks will involve extending existing screens, squashing a few known bugs, and wiring up new REST endpoints provided by our backend team. You’ll be collaborating closely with our senior developer—he’ll handle architecture decisions and code reviews while you focus on clean Dart implementation, diligent testing, and timely progress updates through Git and our Slack channel. Effective communication is essential; short video stand-ups and written summaries will keep everyone in sync. API integration is a central part of the role. We have several third-party services (payments, social features, mapping) in the pipeline, and I’ll count on you to stitch them into the app, manage keys and secrets securely, and document each integration so future upgrades are painless. When polishing UI, feel free to lean on Material components or Cupertino widgets as appropriate—we’re flexible as long as the end result looks consistent and performs well across devices. Deliverables will be merged pull requests with meaningful commit messages, test coverage for new logic, and a short changelog for every sprint. If you enjoy writing neat, reliable Flutter code and can coordinate smoothly with a lead developer, I’d love to hear from you.
