My Joomla site has suddenly begun returning a 500 Internal Server Error on both the front-end and the administrator area. No new extensions were installed, no core or plugin updates were applied, and nothing changed on the server side before the issue appeared. Deliverables • Site loads normally on all pages, login and admin included • Clear, concise fix report (steps taken + root cause) The job is complete once the 500 error is gone everywhere and I can log back into Joomla admin without issues. Also looking to update to Joomla 5 if possible.
