Problem: German language switcher + hreflang are sending Google/users to the wrong domain seoarchitekt.ai (dead/legacy). This breaks hreflang clustering and rankings. 1) Fix the German language switcher (hard-coded / theme-level) This is NOT in WP Menus (we checked). It’s most likely hard-coded in TheGem Built-In Header (overlay header template) or a header component. Search the codebase for seoarchitekt.ai (and www.seoarchitekt.ai) and replace only the DE target with: → https://seoarchitect.ai/de/ Do not change header layout/design—only the URL target. 2) Fix hreflang (Yoast output / head tags) In <head> on all language pages, hreflang must reference only seoarchitect.ai URLs. Specifically: hreflang="de" must be: → https://seoarchitect.ai/de/ (not seoarchitekt.ai) Requirements: No hreflang URLs may reference seoarchitekt.ai anywhere All hreflang URLs must return 200 OK (no redirects) Self-referencing + reciprocal hreflang across languages Canonical must be self per language page 3) Add safety net (redirects) Add 301 redirects: seoarchitekt.ai/* → https://seoarchitect.ai/* www.seoarchitekt.ai/* → https://seoarchitect.ai/* (If mapping is not possible, at minimum root → /de/.) Deliverable / verification Provide proof (screenshots or view-source snippets) that: language switcher DE goes to https://seoarchitect.ai/de/ <head> hreflang contains no seoarchitekt.ai redirects work Scope: bugfix only.
