My previous development partner closed shop midway, leaving me with a half-built mobile app. I now need someone to step in, review the existing repository, and bring the project to completion—starting with the lunar calendar, which is the top priority. What the calendar must do • Present a full monthly view in a traditional grid layout that feels instantly familiar. • Overlay each day with the correct moon-phase icon and name, calculated or fetched automatically. • Display a concise “Daily Lunar Fact” that expands to a short paragraph when tapped of special Islamic events that happened that day. Assets & code I have the current source code, UI assets, and preliminary navigation structure ready for hand-over on day one. You can work in the language or framework already in place; if a rewrite is faster, I’m open. Acceptance criteria for this milestone 1. Calendar renders correctly for any selected month and year. 2. Moon-phase data and lunar facts match reliable ephemeris tables and can be customized based off of actual moonsighting. 3. Has a photo gallery for different cities for viewing. 4. Has a section for inspirational quotes 5. App store–ready build (TestFlight / internal track) demonstrating the finished calendar section. 6. Section on pdfs for viewing like an ereader. What’s next If you’re comfortable picking up an inherited codebase and can deliver this first milestone quickly, let’s talk.
