Hello, We are looking for a professional Web3 / blockchain developer (or a small team) with experience building Farcaster Mini Apps and developing production-level smart contracts. ⸻ Project Idea We want to build a Mini App on Farcaster that works as a gig / bounty marketplace. The idea is similar in spirit to Gig.bot, but with our own logic, access rules, and on-chain mechanisms. Core features: • Users can create gigs, browse gigs, accept gigs, and complete gigs. • The Mini App must implement token/NFT-based access control from the beginning. • Only eligible users (token or NFT holders) can create or accept gigs. • The system must include smart contract logic at launch, not just in future phases. ⸻ Smart Contract Requirements (Mandatory from Day One) The developer will need to design, develop, and deploy the smart contracts that handle: • On-chain gig lifecycle (creation → acceptance → completion) • Permission checks (token gating / NFT gating) • Optional escrow-style token locking for gig rewards • Emitting events for Mini App to sync UI state • Future extensibility (reputation, payments, token rewards, etc.) Contracts should be secure, gas-efficient, upgrade-friendly, and written in Solidity. ⸻ Developer Responsibilities • Build the Farcaster Mini App with: • Gig creation • Gig listing • Gig acceptance • Gig completion • Integrate wallet connections + on-chain validations. • Build and deploy the required smart contracts. • Provide APIs / endpoints (if needed) for indexing and UI state. • Create a simple, clean and user-friendly UI optimized for Mini App usage. • Deliver an architecture that is scalable, modular, and easy to extend. ⸻ Requirements • Strong experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) • Experience building Farcaster Mini Apps or Frames • Proven experience with smart contract development (Solidity) • Understanding of: • Token gating • NFT ownership validation • Wallet integration • On-chain state management • Familiarity with Ethereum tooling (Hardhat, Foundry, Ethers.js, Wagmi, Safe, etc.) • Reliable and able to collaborate effectively with a team ⸻ Project Goal To create a functional, Web3-native Mini App inside Farcaster where users can post and complete gigs every day. The platform must be trustless, transparent and fully powered by on-chain logic and token-based access control from day one — with room to grow into token payments, reputation systems, and advanced contract interactions. ⸻ Reference Project: Gig.bot A closely related example is Gig.bot, a Farcaster Mini App created by corbin.eth. Gig.bot demonstrates: • A gig/bounty system inside Farcaster • Token-based rewards • Users completing tasks and receiving tokens in their wallets • Fully native Mini App experience inside Warpcast and other Farcaster clients Our project takes inspiration from this model, but will have a different architecture, access-control logic (NFT gating), and customizable gig workflow. This reference helps developers understand the direction and complexity of what we’re building.
