I have an existing CRM that still lives in Excel and it has started to hold my team back. I want to keep the spreadsheet foundation but modernise it so everyone can work in it simultaneously, see changes instantly, and only access the parts they should. Think multi-user permissions, real-time updates, and smooth collaborative editing baked right in. Automation is the second pillar. Routine data entry needs to happen automatically wherever possible, and I’d like clear, visual tracking of each lead through our pipeline stages. In addition, the sheet should calculate a simple P&L and maintain a rolling marketing scorecard without manual intervention. When new enquiries hit our Leadnail box inbox they should flow straight into the CRM via Zapier, trigger an acknowledgement email, and land in the correct stage of the funnel. Key elements I need you to deliver: • A restructured Excel (or Excel-compatible online or google sheets, etc) file that supports multi-user access, permission levels, and live collaboration. • Built-in automations for data entry, pipeline stage tracking, P&L, and marketing scorecard calculations. • Zapier workflows that pull inbound leads from Leadnail box, push status updates, and fire off confirmation emails automatically. • Simple on-sheet dashboards so any team member can see the health of the pipeline at a glance. • A brief hand-off guide so the team can adjust fields or Zapier steps in the future. If you have deep experience with Excel scripting (VBA, Office Scripts, or Power Automate), Zapier, and email automation, I’d love to see how you’d approach this upgrade and how quickly you could get us live.
