We are seeking an experienced WordPress Expert Developer to design and develop a fully responsive, enterprise-grade WordPress website. The website will have 28 pages. We currently have an existing WordPress site, and we will provide: All final website copy/content Existing brand guidelines, including logo, colors, and fonts Access to our current domain and hosting account (for migration phase) The new site will first be built on the freelancer’s staging server (WordPress environment) for review and approval. Once approved, it will be migrated to our production WordPress account with all files, database, and settings properly transferred and verified. Scope of Work & Deliverables The developer will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, including design, configuration, optimization, and secure migration. 1.Website Build & Design Build site in WordPress (latest version) using a professional, enterprise-grade theme (Astra Pro, Kadence, GeneratePress, or similar — lightweight, customizable, and license-transferable). Implement a clean, modern, and high-performance layout that reflects our brand identity. Fully responsive design optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Incorporate SEO-friendly structure, clean permalinks, proper H1/H2 hierarchy, and schema markup. Accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA). Include blog functionality, contact forms, CTA buttons, and integrated analytics tracking (Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Meta Pixel if needed). Integration of social sharing and lead capture forms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar). 2' Technical Foundation Build on a secure, private WordPress staging server (freelancer-hosted) for review and testing. Use a child theme for all customizations to ensure update safety. Implement SSL, security plugins (Wordfence, iThemes, or equivalent), and reCAPTCHA for all forms. Optimize site speed using caching, image compression, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals compliance (Google PageSpeed 90+ target). Configure proper site structure, menus, and breadcrumbs for SEO and usability. Set up automatic daily backups on staging. 3. Content & Integration Upload and format all provided copy, images, and media. Ensure typography and color consistency per brand guidelines. Integrate: Contact forms with backend notifications Email capture (Mailchimp/HubSpot/ActiveCampaign) CRM connection if applicable Google Maps, social media links, and live chat (if requested) Configure all legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Cookie Notice). 4. Testing, Quality Assurance & Migration Full cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and mobile responsiveness check (iOS & Android). Performance optimization with GTMetrix or Google Lighthouse (target load time ≤ 3 seconds). Test all forms and integrations end-to-end. Once approved, migrate site to our WordPress hosting (SiteGround, WP Engine, or equivalent). Post-migration QA to verify all URLs, links, media, and forms function properly.
