Outbound replies from Slack already send via Twilio successfully. Now we want to upgrade usability and automation for a smoother, more CRM-like experience. Current Setup Twilio number connected through Make.com (formerly Integromat) New SMS messages create Slack channels and post content Outbound Slack replies route correctly through Twilio Goals / Improvements 1. Channel Auto-Renaming + Contact Lookup When a new SMS arrives, automatically rename the Slack channel to the client’s name (pulled from Google Sheets, Airtable, or Setmore). Post a pinned "Client Card" with phone number, city, last job, and payment link. 2. Simplified Message Sending Add a custom /sms Slack command or shortcut: /sms John Doe Your technician is on the way. → Looks up the number, sends via Twilio, logs the message in Slack. 3. MMS & File Sharing Allow sending and receiving images, videos, or PDFs directly within Slack threads. 4. Message Scheduling + Quick Replies Add scheduler for appointment reminders or follow-ups. Create reusable "quick reply" templates for common responses. 5. (Optional) AI Assistant Integration Auto-respond to client texts for appointment booking, payment links, or simple tech-support prompts. Integrate with Setmore and/or Square.
