My e-commerce site is already under active development, but I need an experienced project manager to guide it through the remaining stages and get us live without hiccups. The build is roughly halfway complete, with a small remote team of designers and developers already assigned. Your primary responsibilities will be day-to-day coordination with those developers, enforcing the project timeline, and driving a rigorous quality-assurance and final testing process—including commissioning before launch. I will share our current Gantt chart, sprint backlog, and staging URL on day one so you can evaluate progress and identify gaps. From there I’m expecting: • A realistic, updated timeline with clear milestones and owner assignments • Ongoing stand-up facilitation and progress tracking (we currently use Trello and Slack) • A QA and regression-testing plan covering checkout flow, payment gateway, inventory sync, and mobile responsiveness • A consolidated bug/issue log with priority ratings and resolution targets • A “go-live” checklist and final commissioning report confirming the site is ready for production Proven experience managing e-commerce builds, familiarity with common stacks (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom PHP/React, etc.), and sharp communication skills are essential. If you’re confident you can bring order, transparency, and quality control to a project already in motion, I’m ready to get started right away.
