I’m starting a brand-new web application and want it built on Django from the ground up. The core scope is clear: • Secure user authentication that covers sign-up, login, password reset and role-based access. • Clean, intuitive data-entry forms wired to a relational database (PostgreSQL or another SQL engine you prefer). • A reporting and analytics layer so users can visualise and export the information they submit. I’ll supply wireframes, a lightweight style guide and hosting credentials as soon as the project kicks off. You’ll translate those into a production-ready Django project that follows best practices—reusable apps, environment-specific settings, automated tests and clear documentation. Front-end work can stay simple (server-rendered templates or something light like HTMX), but if you believe a React/Vue layer is critical, let’s discuss that early. Deliverables 1. Source code in Git with a readable commit history. 2. Database schema migrations and seed data. 3. Basic test suite (pytest or Django’s default) covering the main flows. 4. Deployment instructions for a Linux server (Gunicorn, Nginx, Docker—your call). 5. A short hand-off session to walk through architecture and next steps. The first milestone will be the authentication module; once that’s approved we’ll move on to forms and finally the reporting dashboard.
