I run the online clothing store dsa-cic.org and right now I have no unified way to see what’s happening in production. I need someone to design and implement a complete monitoring and logging layer so I can spot performance issues, trace errors and receive timely alerts. The focus is exclusively on Monitoring and Logging; build pipelines are already covered elsewhere. I’m inclined toward an open-source stack—Prometheus for metrics collection and Grafana for dashboards—but I’m also open to alternatives such as New Relic if you can explain why they’re a better fit. What I expect from you • Instrument the application and infrastructure to capture key metrics (CPU, memory, request latency, error rates) and centralize all logs. • Set up dashboards that make those metrics immediately actionable. • Configure alerting rules that notify me via Slack or email when thresholds are crossed. • Ship the entire solution as infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm charts or similar) and provide concise documentation plus a brief hand-over call. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk so I can stop flying blind and start running the site with confidence.
