Project Description: The objective of this project is to develop a model that can accurately reconstruct the masked regions of fingerprint images. I will provide the complete dataset for this work. The dataset will consist of two folders: Ground Truth / Complete Fingerprint Images – original, unmasked fingerprint images. Input Images – fingerprint images with artificially applied masks (black masked regions). The model should learn from the complete fingerprint images and reconstruct the missing ridge patterns in the masked areas of the input images. The reconstructed output must show clear and continuous fingerprint ridges in the masked regions and should be as close as possible to the ground truth image. The implementation can be done using MATLAB and/or Python (Anaconda environment). Proper documentation of the code, model architecture, and results is required. Please note that all datasets will be provided by me, and the masks are artificially generated, not naturally damaged prints. Payment Terms: Payment will be made only after full completion of the project, including successful verification of the code, model performance, and reconstruction results.
