I have two photographs and I’d like each of them turned into its own chess piece carved in a traditional style. I’m after exact, recognisable representations rather than loose interpretations, so please plan on matching every visible feature from the photos while still respecting classic Staunton-type proportions. Two photographs show the two chess pieces as they've previously been printed and two other photographs show the two individual silhouettes that were designed into the two chess pieces. Please let me know if either silhouette is insufficient resolution, in which case I will send you higher resolution copies once we have agreed on the job. Here’s the workflow I have in mind. You sculpt both figures digitally, prepare them for FDM printing, and share screen grabs or short turn-tables so I can sign off before anything goes on the printer. Once approved, print one copy of each piece in PETG. Standard tournament height (roughly 80-90 mm) is what I'm after. Clean up any support marks, give the surfaces a light sand or polish so the plastic looks crisp, then package both pieces securely and mail them to me in Australia. I’m happy to pay the postage separately; just keep the tracking number handy. Deliverables • Final 3D files in STL (and OBJ if convenient) • One flawless PETG print of each design • A quick video or photo set showing the finished parts before dispatch • Tracking details once the package is on its way If you already work with Fusion 360, Blender, ZBrush, or similar sculpting tools, that’s perfect, but I’m flexible on software as long as the geometry is watertight and print-ready.
