I need a developer who already knows their way around the ThingsBoard Community Edition to stand up a full-featured IoT platform for us. The first installation will run on-premise on a Windows, yet the solution must stay portable so I can drop it onto Linux or the cloud later without re-engineering. Multi-tenant capability is essential: Super admin, Admin, and Local user roles each need distinct, editable permission sets. From the GUI the Super admin must be able to swap logos, colours, and overall theme without touching source. Reporting is a big piece. Manual CSV/PDF exports are fine, but the system also has to fire off daily, weekly, and monthly summaries automatically. Those reports, along with alert notifications, must reach users by both e-mail and SMS. Because the platform will eventually speak to other in-house systems, please keep ThingsBoard’s API layer and common IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, Modbus, OPC-UA, etc.) ready for straightforward integration. Deliverables • A working ThingsBoard CE instance on our Windows. • Role-based access control for Super admin / Admin / Local user. • Theming panel visible only to Super admin. • Automated and manual report generation (daily, weekly, monthly) with e-mail & SMS notifications. • Source-controlled configuration, migration notes, and clear deployment documentation so I can replicate the stack on Linux or a cloud VM later If you’ve completed similar customizations before, I’d love to see an example dashboard or a short description of the approach you took.
