Custom Indoor Enclosure Design

I’m ready to move from concept to manufacturable design for a small, indoor-use mechanical enclosure and need an experienced product designer to get me there. The overall look should be clean and compact, housing a set of electronics while keeping assembly straightforward for low-volume production. Because this unit will stay indoors, we don’t have to battle rain or UV, but it still needs to feel solid and professional on a desktop or wall-mount bracket. I’m open on material choice—plastic injection-molded parts, sheet-metal fabrication, or a hybrid approach are all possibilities—so I’d appreciate your guidance on the trade-offs for cost, tooling, and thermal performance. Once we agree on the best route, I’ll need 3D CAD files (STEP/SolidWorks preferred), 2-D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, and basic assembly instructions. If you can also provide photorealistic renders for stakeholder review, that’s a plus. When we finish, I should be able to send the package straight to my manufacturer without extra cleanup. If this sounds like a fit, tell me a bit about similar indoor enclosures you’ve designed and which CAD package you’ll use.
